Supporting the Community through Local Bed Race Fundraiser

Sweet sponsored two local students from the Welding class at our local Career Technical Center. As part of their senior project, Zach Dingledine and Alex Caudill elected to construct a bed to enter into the local Interfaith Hospitality Network Bed Race with proceeds going to support housing alternatives for the homeless. During this time, both Zach and Alex worked for Sweet part-time to better understand their welding specialty in the actual workplace. Sweet's Plant Manager, Pat McClintock, mentored Zach and Alex during this time and eventually offered both of them full time employment with Sweet!

Extend Equipment Life with Ceramic Liners

A reminder that ceramic liners are available as an option for our bucket elevators and drag conveyors! Ceramic liners can have a very favorable impact on durability and life of the equipment and can ensure smooth and quiet movement of many grains. The addition of a ceramic liner requires attention to detail, precision cutting and superior craftsmanship. We have proven experience installing ceramic liners and are eager to share a recent success story with you. Ask you Sweet salesperson about ceramic liners for your next project.
